Team[]
The team consists of the 6 characters in The Good Place. The name comes from something Michael said. The team was later named as Soul Squad after Michael sent them back to Earth.
Goals[]
The team's main goal originally (as Team Cockroach) was to get to The Good Place, in season two.
In season three and four (as The Soul Squad) their goal is to create a fair point system, prove the good in humanity and put their friends/relatives on the right path in life.
Names[]
The team has had several name changes.
- Team Cockroach (originally) chosen by Michael when he deemed himself superior to humans, namely calling them cockroaches and himself an exterminator
- The Brainy Bunch (on Earth) chosen by Trevor to name their ethical study group.
- The Soul Squad (currently) chosen because they wanted to save the souls of themselves, their loved ones and humanity as a whole.
- Bobcats (Jason only, he thought it sounded cool, nobody else agreed)
